Enjoy a great day out riding along the beautiful Solway coast & countryside on roads with very little traffic compared to most of the UK. Choice of Yellow 40 miles, Blue 75 miles or Red 100 miles routes, all with feeding station. Starting and finishing at Dumfries Rugby Club with good facilities.
A well established sportive, with routes designed by fellow cyclists for your enjoyment, raising money for local good causes. Organised by Dumfries Devorgilla Rotary Club and Dalbeattie Community Initiative.
The Carsphairn to Dalry section of the Red 100 was used during Stage 1 of the Tour of Britain 2019.
The event starts and finishes at Dumfries Rugby Club with free parking, changing rooms and showers post event. Feeding stations will be available on all three routes and food/drink is provided at the finish. The event is suitable for all with a reasonable level of fitness, depending on the route entered. A timed certificate is presented to all finishers.
If entrant is under 18 years, parent/carer must sign a consent form at Registration. No unaccompanied entrants under 16 years.
This event is organised entirely by experienced volunteers.
